Avidsen committed to an an eco-responsible home automation
What Avidsen says, Avidsen does. Our commitment to eco-responsible and sustainable home automation stems from the strong desire of all Avidsen employees to preserve our planet.
For several years, we have been convinced that technology and innovation are not synonymous with disposability. With each connected project, our employees invest in a connected home that makes sense.
To protect our natural resources, we strive to control the impact of our solutions, from their design and throughout their life.
Thus, Avidsen has begun to integrate sustainable materials into its solutions:
– We use recycled cardboard to transport our equipment.
– We optimize the size and the wedging of our packaging: no more over-packaging that ends up in the garbage can!
Eco-Friendly products
We design products with 100% recycled materials.
The use of paint is greatly reduced: we use engraving.
Our packs use less chemical paints.
We develop low-energy solutions that have less impact on the planet and help protect the environment.
What are our recycled materials?
The bamboo range, for example, uses 100% recycled plastic and bamboo wood known for its low-energy qualities.
In addition, our extel drives are made from recycled aluminum.
With this type of material, the quality remains and the planet is preserved.
Our products have a high reparability index, so when you contact After Sales Service to return a product, our teams do their utmost to repair it, and reuse spare parts.
We propose on our site, reconditioned products, the opportunity for you to acquire items in “second hand”.
We believe in the circular economy applied to the connected habitat. In order to transmit a healthier world, Avidsen wants to concretely take part in the awareness in favor of the respect of the planet.
We can’t achieve sustainable growth in our business without teams who are committed to an eco-responsible working environment. For example, we reduce the volume of our printing and photocopying…we recycle paper, and we have opted to digitize all our HR supports.
Avidsen has set up its head office in an HQE (high environmental quality) building. The sixty or so employees who work there are multiplying their efforts in favor of the environment:
Goodbye cardboard cups for coffee breaks: everyone has their own personal mug. The lights go out when the offices are unoccupied. The air conditioner is managed responsibly.
Pursue innovation and creativity for the benefit of the planet
Eager to make these approaches part of its corporate dynamic, Avidsen has just joined the French Business Climate Pledge program initiated by the Medef (French business movement).
The concrete actions do not stop. We are strengthening our collaboration with trusted partners, suppliers who are as committed as we are to a sustainable approach. For example, we are exploring the use of vegetable inks for our packaging needs.
Our first responsibility is to ensure the well-being and development of our employees. We strive to be an employer of choice for our employees. We encourage actions in favor of well-being at work. To promote integration, diversity and well-being in the workplace, we combat discrimination and prevent the risks of exclusion.
We ensure that our teams receive the training they need to improve their effectiveness in their professional missions.
We actively combat gender inequality and pay inequality.
Created by the law of September 5, 2018 for the freedom to choose one’s professional future, the Professional Equality Index (Index Pénicaud) enables companies to measure the pay gap between women and men and highlights the points for progress on which to act when these disparities are unjustified.
All companies with more than 50 employees must calculate and publish their Index every year on March 1st.
Thelens is to measure and compare, for women and for men:
– Average pay for comparable positions and ages
– Individual pay rises
– Number of employees receiving pay rises on return from maternity leave
– Parity among the 10 highest-paid companies
In 2025, Avidsen achieves a score of 99/100 based on 2024 figures.
By way of comparison, the national average for companies of our size (50-250 employees) is 88/100.
