A committed company
Eco-design at the heart of product development
Our actions in place
Sustainable design & circularity
We design our products to last and anticipate their end-of-life. Right from the design stage, we integrate recycled and recyclable materials (plastics, aluminum) and develop energy-efficient equipment that exceeds European requirements on standby power consumption.
Repair rather than replacement
We encourage our customers to extend the life of their equipment through a spare parts platform (Maisonic.com) and online repair tutorials.
Eco-responsible packaging
We have eliminated plastic from our packaging in favor of recycled cardboard, reduced the size of our parcels and replaced screw cap bags with paper alternatives, thus limiting the environmental impact of our packaging.
Responsible production and logistics
We optimize the filling of our shipping containers to reduce transport-related emissions, and rely on low-carbon data centers (OVH) for our cloud services.
Our future actions from 2025 to 2030
Life cycle assessment and eco-design
We analyze the life cycle of our flagship products and train our teams in eco-design to continuously improve the environmental performance of our equipment.
Low-impact logistics
Whenever possible, we’ll give priority to shipping solutions with lower emissions, such as slow-shipping or more energy-efficient ships.
Environmental and social audits of suppliers
We will be incorporating more stringent environmental and social criteria into our supplier audits (energy, waste management, working conditions) in order to improve our entire value chain.
A responsible company
Avidsen carried out its second carbon audit in 2024, although this is not mandatory for companies with fewer than 500 employees.
CARBON FOOTPRINT 2024
1.366kg of CO₂ emitted per € of sales, a figure that commits us!
This first snapshot of our carbon footprint reveals a telling reality:
- 97% of our emissions are linked to our products, from design to end-of-life.
- 1.47% concern transport, especially logistics flows.
By carrying out this assessment, we have already taken an essential step towards acting with lucidity, directing our efforts where they are most useful, and making concrete progress towards a more responsible business.
Our one-year progress plan
The carbon footprint is not an end in itself, but a starting point for structuring our approach to progress.
Our actions are deployed across the three emissions scopes defined by the carbon methodology, in order to take relevant action.
SCOPE 1 covers direct emissions.
SCOPE 2 concerns energy consumption.
SCOPE 3 covers indirect emissions.
This evolving action plan is part of our drive to build a more sober, resilient company aligned with tomorrow’s environmental challenges.

Lens 2030
In addition to the actions already taken, we are aiming to reduce emissions to 0.800 kg of CO2 /€ of sales.
This represents a significant drop of 41.4% in 6 years.

To contribute to a more sustainable future, for our users and for the planet!
A human enterprise
Employee well-being at the heart of corporate projects
COMFORT AND RESPECT
Avidsen's headquarters building in Tours has been awarded HQE (High Environmental Quality) certification, a guarantee of the alliance between energy performance and respect for the environment.
It offers its occupants a healthy, comfortable and sustainable living environment. The modern, carefully-designed workspaces are designed to promote employee well-being.
Several acoustic cabins are available, guaranteeing both confidentiality and tranquility in a collaborative environment.
fRUITS & HONEY
Head office employees are regularly offered seasonal fruit from local organic farms.
This initiative aims to encourage healthy eating while supporting our region's producers, reinforcing both well-being at work and our territorial roots.
Avidsen also sponsors a beehive installed at BiodiverCity, in Chambray les Tours (37), actively contributing to the preservation of local biodiversity and the protection of bees, an essential link in our ecosystem.
PARITY: 99/100!
Promoting gender equality is an integral part of our CSR commitment. At Avidsen, we see parity as a lever for sustainable performance and social equity.
In 2024, our score of 99/100 on the Pénicaud Index illustrates our determination to take concrete action against inequality, well above the national average (88/100 for companies of a similar size).
Because a respectful and fair working environment is essential to building a responsible company.
FLEXIBILITY & SOLIDARITY
Committed to diversity, equality and inclusion, we take care to offer a work environment that is compatible with personal life.
To this end, teleworking for up to two days a week is one of the practices offered to employees who so wish.
As part of its commitment to the community, Avidsen encourages all its employees to donate blood by allowing them to devote 45 minutes of their working time to blood donation every quarter.
