Reminder of connection

For connection photocells , please refer to the dedicated tutorials for AVLO and CA2B9SL boards.

Foreword

You will find below the meaning of the LEDs on photocells.

The Avidsen, Thomson and Extel electronic cards with which photocells are compatible go into standby mode when not in use, thus cutting off the power supply to photocells.

LED status

See opposite

Step 1 For installation when the board is not powered up

You can use an external power supply to power photocells and manage its alignment.

Step 2 Power supply via electronic board

If you are installing photocells while the board is powered up, first make sure that the board is not in standby mode (LED L0 on).

To increase the delay before the card switches off, and to give yourself time to find the correct alignment of photocells, set the card to manual mode (see opposite). The card will remain in standby mode for 1m30 for CA2B9SL cards, and 2 min in standby mode for AVLO cards.

Alignment limit

The alignment limit is materialized by a loss of the beam when the motor starts up and creates its current peak.

Alignment is therefore good when the motor is stopped, and closing does not take place (with alerts from the board indicating a beam cut) as soon as the motor starts up.

Revisit the positioning of photocells and try to recenter them.
