Adding an EXTEL Open 3K monitor

Here's how to add a secondary monitor to your system

This tutorial is applicable for:

Tutorial steps:

Step 1: Connection

  • Ensure that intercom panel is connected to the BUS A and BUS B terminals on the 1st monitor.
  • Make sure the BUS A and BUS B terminals on the second monitor are connected to the ADD A and ADD B terminals on the main monitor.
  • Monitors are configured as main monitors by default.

Step 2: Secondary monitor configuration

  • Plug in the mains adapter or switch on your associated circuit breaker for both monitors.
  • Wait for the monitors to start up correctly.

 

Note that it is not necessary to make a Wifi connection on the second monitor.

On the secondary monitor

  • Go to “Settings
  • Press “Other settings”.
  • Press “Additional”.
  • Your secondary monitor will restart itself.

The second monitor is now correctly configured

  • In the event of non-operation, perform an electrical restart of both monitors.
