Tutorial steps:

Step 1: Checking the control module

  • Before attempting any connection, ensure that the control module is correctly powered.
  • Make sure the LED is lit solid green.
  • Make sure the LED is flashing red slowly.

Step 2: Preparing your smartphone

  • Download the AVIDSEN HOME application on your Android or IOS smartphone.
  • Before launching the application, make sure your smartphone is connected to the 2.4Ghz wifi network of your Internet box. (For more information, please contact your internet service provider).
  • In the case of a new installation, be sure to grant the authorizations required by the application, in particular location and camera.

Step 3: Connecting the control module

  • Launch the AVIDSEN HOME application

  • Press for 3 seconds, the red LED will flash rapidly. The module will be in association mode for 60 seconds.
  • Select “Check that the red light is flashing” then press “Next”.
  • Your smartphone will send the Wifi information to your control module, then scan your local network to find your monitor.
  • Make sure during this step that the module’s red LED is still flashing rapidly.
  • If your smartphone hasn’t found the control module by the end of the countdown, make sure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4Ghz Wifi network, then restart the procedure in step 3.
  • If your thermostat is connected to your Internet box, this window should appear.
  • You can change the device name in the application by clicking on .
  • Press “Done”.
  • Press your thermostat to control it
  • Your thermostat is now online.
  • Any changes to the application settings will have a direct effect on the thermostat settings.
