Materials needed:

plastic spatula. electronic tweezers, Phillips screwdriver, flathead screwdriver

Tutorial steps:

Step 1: Dismantling the intercom panel

  • Turn the intercom panel over to gain access to the fixing screws.
  • Unscrew the 6 Phillips screws.
  • Remove the rear cover from intercom panel by lifting it upwards.

Step 2: Dismantling the motherboard

  • Disconnect the microphone using a small pair of pliers.
  • Do not pull on the wire, as this may damage it.
  • Unlock the camera cover by pushing back the two latches with a small flathead screwdriver.
  • Slide the plastic spatula under the tablecloth and remove it.
  • Disconnect the infrared LEDs using small pliers.
  • Do not pull on the wire, as this may damage it.
  • Disconnect the keypad using small pliers.
  • Disconnect the loudspeaker using small pliers.
  • Do not pull on the wire, as this may damage it.
  • Remove the 6 Phillips screws holding the motherboard to the chassis
  • You can now remove the motherboard and replace it.

Step 3: Replacing the motherboard

  • Replace the new circuit board and reconnect each component in reverse order.
  • Before repositioning the rear cover of the intercom panel, check that the gasket is correctly positioned in its slot.
  • Don’t forget to tighten the 6 screws on the rear cover of the intercom panel

The replacement is complete
