The Benefits of a Solar-Powered Wireless Videophone

Open range Elia Solar Wave

Elia Solar Wave is an easy-to-install videophone

Elia Solar Wave is a wireless system, which is convenient if you don’t have an electrical connection leading to your gate or side gate. With an open range of 200 meters, the videophone can adapt to any home layout. While the intercom panel mounts to a pillar, the screen can be mounted on a wall or placed on a flat surface using the bracket provided.

Elia Solar Wave is a standalone videophone

A 3.8 W solar panel mounted on top of the intercom panel eliminates the need to use electricity when greeting visitors. Sunlight powers the intercom panel and recharges the built-in battery. You’ll be able to use your videophone as usual. In the event of insufficient sunlight, the battery takes over and you can use your video door phone as normal.

Greater safety with Elia Solar Wave

Several Elia Solar Wave features allow you to keep control of access to your home:

  • dual gate/gate control (you’ll need to install a transformer – not included in the package – to control the gate only): no one enters without your consent
  • the Door Check function keeps an eye on your home’s perimeter even when no one’s at the door

See who’s at the door with infrared LED night vision, regardless of the ambient light.

Tips for Optimal Installation of Your Videophone

To find the best location and orientation for your door phone’s intercom panel, choose a spot that:

  • preferably south-facing, sunny all year round
  • with no shade or vegetation above the intercom panel equipped with the solar panel

Elia Solar Wave is a wireless system. This videophone model is perfect for homes that don’t have a power source at their gate.
